ZUBERERAREN IDAZKERAZ : ORTOGRAFIA, FONETIKA ETA FONOLOGIA

In this article one releases the relations which exist between the orthography of the Academy of the Basque language for the standard Basque applied currently to the Basque souletin dialect and the phonology and the phonetics of this dialect. The correspondences between the graphic characters selected and the sounds and phonemes are updated. This reveals that some adjustments could be carried out in order to make this orthography closer to the phonology of the dialect. In practice this would facilitate the learning of it, the Souletin being less and less transmitted orally in family, and could make it possible to help to preserve some of its oral characteristics. In the symbolic system plan a more specific orthography would be a proof of recognition of the dialect, knowing well that an orthography is never completely phonetic or phonological and that, in addition, the Souletin, like the other Basque dialects, tends to approach the standard Basque.
Dans cet article on dégage les relations qui existent entre l'orthographe de l'Académie de la langue basque pour le basque standard appliquée actuellement au dialecte basque souletin et la phonologie et la phonétique de ce dialecte. Les correspondances entre les caractères graphiques retenus et les sons et phonèmes sont mises à jour. Il en ressort que quelques aménagements pourraient être effectués afin de rendre cette orthographe plus proche de la phonologie du dialecte. Au plan pratique cela en faciliterait l'apprentissage, le souletin étant de moins en moins transmis oralement en famille, et pourrait permettre d'aider à conserver certaines de ses caractéristiques orales. Au plan symbolique une graphie plus spécifique serait une preuve de reconnaissance du dialecte, sachant bien qu'une orthographe n'est jamais totalement phonétique ou phonologique et que, d'autre part, le souletin, comme les autres dialectes basques, tend à se rapprocher du basque standard.
