F.Maiora published in 2011 the book Reino de Navarra. Euskera: injurias, coplas, frases [Kingdom of Navarre. Basque: insults, songs, sentences]. This book compiles old Basque texts found disseminated in the General Archive of Navarre. The book has an enormous relevance for the study of the past of the Basque language, on the one hand because it includes old attestations from multiple periods and places, and on the other hand, because the Basque language attested there is close to the spoken variety; far from any literary style. Nevertheless, the limited dissemination of the publication, some wrong or partial interpretations of the texts and the lack of a philological and linguistic analysis of the data have complicated the exploitation of this vast corpus. In response to this, this paper provides a thorough linguistic analysis of some selected passages from the book.
Maiora publicó en 2011 el libro "Reino de Navarra. Euskera: injurias, coplas, frases". Esta colección de textos euskéricos antiguos encontrados de manera diseminada en el Archivo General de Navarra tiene una importancia enorme para la investigación del pasado de la lengua vasca, por un lado porque recoge testimonios antiguos de numerosos lugares y épocas, y por el otro porque el euskera ahí empleado está muy próximo a la variedad hablada; lejos del todo toque literario. Pero la limitada difusión de la publicación, ciertas lecturas parciales o erróneas de los textos y la ausencia de un estudio filológico y lingüístico han dificultado el aprovechamiento de este ingente corpus. En respuesta a ello, en este artículo hemos seleccionado algunos fragmentos extraídos del libro, y tras fijar, corregir y, en ocasiones, ampliar los testimonios, hemos realizado un estudio lingüístico de los mismos.
F. Maiorak 2011n "Reino de Navarra. Euskera: injurias, coplas, frases" [Nafarroako Erresuma. Euskara: Irainak, koplak, esaldiak] liburua karrikaratu zuen. Nafarroako Artxibo Orokorrean han-hemenka aurkitutako euskal testu zaharren bilduma honek berebiziko garrantzia du euskararen iraganaren ikerketarako, allde batetik garai eta toki askotako lekukotasun zaharrak biltzen baititu, eta bestetik bertan jasotzen den euskara ahozko moldetik hurbil baitago; zeinahi literatur kutsutik at. Baina argitalpenaren hedatze mugatuak, testuen irakurketa oker edo partzial zenbaitek eta azterketa filologiko zein linguistiko baten faltak corpus ikaragarri honen ustiapena zaildu du. Horri erantzun nahian, artikulu honetan liburuko pasarte batzuk hautatu ditugu, eta lekukotasunak finkatu, zuzendu eta zenbaitetan zabaldu ondoren, azterketa linguistikoa egin dugu.
